Tell YOUR story!

Entering an award could be compared to Storytelling. The story you are conveying in the award entry is your story, your personal account of the work you do exceptionally well! Storytelling is something we all do naturally, starting at a young age, but there’s a difference between good storytelling and ‘great’ storytelling.
Your first hurdle in the awards process is to make sure that your story stands out as the best. Take time to create your story, don’t rush your responses and don’t leave the creation of these responses to last minute. Make sure your responses are sufficient and detailed enough without writing a novel. Some of the best stories are the short stories!
Share your ideas with colleagues and friends, they may be able to give you tips to enhance your story or other ideas that really help to set you apart from the rest.
Be confident, honest and creative.
Taking the time to enter your story immediately gains recognition amongst your peers and colleagues and if you are one of the select few to win at these prestigious awards, it will give you a life time of personal satisfaction and “Happily ever after moments”
Good luck!
